Situer le secteur

The Rochebrune sector (the first one of Megève to have developed) is very sought after : close to the center of the village, it displays many chalets and luxury residences. If the Rochebrune sector is sought after by skiers, athletes and hikers, it is in part because of its proximity to the ski lifts (Grands Champs and cable car). Rochebrune is also very close to Megève's village-centre (5 minutes on foot). Some chalets and apartments have ski-in / ski-out facilities, which is a rare commodity in Megève. You can walk from the center of the village towards the famous Rochebrune cable car, skis on your shoulder. In summer, it allows access to trails and outdoor activities. In winter, it is a direct access in just a few minutes to the beautiful Evasion Mont-Blanc skiing domain, to many hiking and mountain biking trails, to mountain restaurants as well as a paragliding take-off area for high-altitude lovers. Gourmets can treat themsemves in Rochebrune, at the Flocons de Sel: an establishment run by Chef Emmanuel Renaut, the only 3 stars Michelin Guide restaurant in the area.

On the real estate side, Rochebrune has collective residences as well as individual chalets, many of them very luxurious. Rochebrune is a historical Mégevan sector, very popular for its architectural style. It is here that famous architect Henry Jacques Le Même designed his mountain chalets in the last century, still standing today. Acquiring a Le Même chalet is a unique privilege, allowing its owner to enter the History of the vilage and enjoy a piece of its heritage. Rochebrune now also welcomes new construction which are very desired. It is a dynamic sector of Megève, focused on sports and  ski, within which many Mégevans of origin keep their main residence.
