Toquicimes honors mountain cuisine

The Toquicimes culinary festival is back in action from October 20 to 23, 2022 and will have Pierre Hermé as its sponsor. Initiated by the three-star chef Emmanuel Renaut, Toquicimes brings together dozens of chefs from all over France each year for four days of festivities.

Toquicimes, the meeting place for mountain cuisine

Toquicimes has become an unmissable and emblematic meeting place for mountain cuisine since its creation in 2017. Thanks to this festival, Megève proves that it is much more than a ski resort, but also a village designed for welcome gourmets.
This year, it is the world-famous pastry chef and chocolate maker, Pierre Hermé, who will be the sponsor of this 5th edition, which will be all the more gourmet.

Megève has established itself as the capital of mountain gastronomy with no less than 75 restaurants including four starred. It was therefore logical that Toquicimes was born and grew up here, within this typical resort, known throughout the world for its sense of hospitality. The highlights of the Toquicimes 2022

Toquicimes brings together starred chefs, personalities from the world of taste, farmers, producers and local artisans to highlight their gastronomic know-how, most often ancestral. The culinary festival invites you to experience wonderful moments through competitions, events, tastings, challenges but also through conferences.

The elite of French gastronomy will compete through various competitions that punctuate the event throughout the weekend: the competition for the Best Fondue of Megève, the Chartreuse Toquicimes Trophy, the competition for the Chartreuse Chocolate Pie , the Best mountain pie competition, the Les Bugnes family competition and “I cook with my Chef's Boxer”, and all in a friendly and festive atmosphere.

In addition, a program filled with delicacies, encounters and challenges for an unequivocal gourmet weekend.

Les Halles has become the emblematic place of Toquicimes and contributed to the great success of the last edition. Authentic and enchanting, they offer 2000 m² of gastronomy divided into various spaces for unique and original experiences. They offer a local producers' market, a culinary bookstore, entertainment and a restaurant, all in a warm and friendly atmosphere conducive to encounters and exquisite moments of sharing.
