Halles du Haras open in Annecy in June 2026. BARNES Annecy will attend the inauguration of this new gathering place at the historic Haras site.

The upcoming opening of the Halles du Haras marks an important step in the transformation of the historic former Haras d'Annecy site. This ambitious project reflects a strong commitment to bringing an emblematic heritage site back to life while creating a new place for encounters, culture and community life at the heart of the city.

An ambitious project led by Biltoki

Part of the broader Haras rehabilitation, the project combines heritage, gastronomy, cultural programming and quality of life. The future food halls, operated by Biltoki, already recognized for its vibrant halls across several French cities, will host 24 traders, artisans and regional producers showcasing local craftsmanship and Savoyard cuisine.

A true gathering place at the heart of Annecy

Beyond their commercial purpose, the Halles have been designed as a true gathering place, a space for sharing, exchange and encounters, combining market, dining, tasting and daily programming. Located on rue Guillaume Fichet, a short walk from the Pâquier, the lake shores and the old town, they sit within an entirely redesigned landscaped environment, with a warm and high-quality approach.

A wider transformation of the Haras site

This opening is also part of a wider transformation of the Haras site, which will progressively welcome an International City of Animation Cinema, a landscaped park, cultural venues and a community café. The whole project aspires to become a new hub of attractiveness for Annecy, combining urban vitality, heritage and cultural influence.
