golf de bossey

Do you want to combine sport and nature during your stay in Haute-Savoie? Spend a day on the 18-hole course or become a member of the Golf & Country Club de Bossey between Annecy and Geneva.

The 3 ways to play golf in Bossey

Located 10 minutes from Geneva and around 30 minutes by car north of Annecy, easily accessible by the A41 motorway, the Golf & Country Club of Bossey is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Haute-Savoie. This private club is open only to its members. Only the driving range is open to visitors. If you want to spend a day golfing on the 18-hole course, you can buy or rent an action.

When the complex was created, all the shares of the financial holding company of the Bossey golf club were sold. The purchase of a share is therefore only possible if a shareholder agrees to sell you his own. If you own a share, you will have to pay the necessary contributions each year to maintain the facilities. Your spouse and their dependents will also be able to use the facilities.

Renting a share is an attractive alternative to purchasing if you don't want to be a shareholder in the club. You will enjoy the same benefits as permanent members. That said, you will be the only person authorized to use the facilities.

That said, the Golf & Country Club of Bossey is open to all other visitors. Access is limited by reservation to licensees of a federation with a certificate attesting to a handicap of 35.

The 18-hole course at Bossey golf course

This sumptuous course was designed in the early 1980s by the American architect Robert Trent Jones Junior. Before designing the course, he visited the site several times. He realized that the location of the Bossey golf course was ideal, between Lake Geneva and the Salève which heralds the Pre-Alps. The wooded and hilly terrain offered him many possibilities to give free rein to his creativity. The result was up to expectations. Today, the Bossey golf course is considered one of the most beautiful 18-hole courses in the vicinity of Lake Geneva. It is open all year round. In winter, part of the course is closed to the public (10 holes remain open). The training area is a place for learning and improvement divided into several areas: practice, putting green, bunker, approach area ... It simulates the different situations that you will encounter on the course.

Country Club activities

At Golf & Country Club de Bossey, members can also access other modern sports facilities, including:

  • An outdoor swimming pool with solarium and sunbathing lined with vegetation and set in a French garden *
  • Two tennis courts
  • Two squash courts and four training rooms

* The swimming pool is open on sunny days, starting in June. It is monitored in July-August between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

You will find other beautiful golf courses in Aix-lesBains and Divonne-les-Bains.
