The national thermal baths of Aix-les-Bains

The Thermes Nationaux is the most important monument in Aix-les-Bains. Built in 1783 on the ruins of Roman baths, and enlarged several times throughout history. Classified as Historic Monuments since 2016, they bear witness to the development of hydrotherapy since antiquity and until the 20th century. You can discover the remains of the ancient Roman baths dating from the 1st century AD.

The Arch of Campanus

Located in front of the old buildings of the National Baths, the Arc de Campanus is an important testimony to the rich Roman period of Aix-les-Bains. It was built by L. Pompeius Campanus to honor the deceased of his family and dates from the end of the 1st century. Some think it's a funerary arch, others think it served as a gateway to the city.

The Church of Our Lady of Aix-les-Bains

Grand Circle Casino

The Aix-les-Bains casino is located in the Palais de Savoie and is a listed historical monument. The magnificent casino has continued to grow over time with 2 side pavilions and the creation of a 900-seat theatre. It houses several games rooms, reception rooms and performance halls.

The floral park of the Thermes

Right in the center of Aix-les-Bains, the Thermes floral park or green park is one of the most beautiful walks in the city. Formerly closed to the castle of the Marquis of Aix, the floral park of the Thermes was laid out for the first time in 1866, then again in the 1930s, after the expansion of the Thermes de Pétriaux. The latter signs all of the buildings, kiosks, restaurant and promenade des sources which gives the park its Art Deco atmosphere.

The Faure Museum

The Faure museum was founded in 1949 and offers an itinerary in the adventure of impressionist painting, from pre-impressionism to post-impressionism with Corot, Boudin, Jongkind, Ravier, Cézanne, etc. This museum also houses the second largest collection of works by Rodin in France, a collection of ceramics and earthenware as well as a set of souvenirs from the Aix stays of the poet Alphonse de Lamartine.

Bourget Lake

The belvedere of Mont Revard

At 1560 meters above sea level, two wooden footbridges and a glass platform overlook the void and offer you magnificent plunging views of Lake Bourget and the city of Aix-les-Bains. The interest of the panorama from the belvedere lies in two privileged points of view: towards the west, aerial view of the lake and the Dent du Chat - in the axis of the Col du Chat, notice the sparkling ribbon of the Rhône; to the east, the Mont-Blanc massif appears behind a series of wooded and mountainous planes.
