Situated in UGp2 zoning, the main building regulations to be noted are as follows:

UGp (General Preserved Zone)

This zone applies to low-density residential areas that must be preserved, where densification is strictly limited. Not all residential sectors within the Pays de Gex are eligible for redevelopment, in order to control demographic growth.
The UGp zone is subdivided into two sub-zones:

UGp1, which governs standard residential housing;

UGp2, which applies to very low-density residential areas located on the lower slopes, subject to protection.

Setback and layout regulations :

- Buildings must be set back at least 5 metres from public or private access roads.

- With regard to plot boundaries, buildings must be set back at least 7 metres from one boundary.
- On the other boundaries, a minimum setback of 4 metres is required.
- Swimming pools must be located at least 2 metres from plot boundaries.

Building footprint :
- The maximum building footprint is limited to 10% of the total plot area.

Building height :
- Maximum authorised height to the eaves: 7 metres
- Maximum overall height: 9 metres

Green space and biotope coefficient :
- A minimum of 55% of the plot must remain as natural green space.
- The Biotope Coefficient is set at a minimum of 65% of the total plot area.
